  • Proficiency in human-centered product management: define clear and actionable problem statements, comprehensive understanding of iterative software delivery and thin-slice MVP grooming, leverage customer insights to influence priorities and roadmap, advocate for and drive alignment on acceptance criteria, obsess over UX/UI patterns for world-class omni-channel experiences
  • Proficiency in business-focused product management: own and prioritize near-term product roadmap to deliver business outcomes, identify points of leverage in complex problems, utilize data to define success metrics
  • Proficiency in technology-driven product management: understand and leverage technology and end-state architecture vision, partner with technology team on design decisions, share business strategy and roadmap with Tech partners, lead and facilitate agile ceremonies
  • Proficiency in transformational leadership: develop and communicate 6-month vision to senior stakeholders with transparency on risks and impediments, build relationships for horizontal influence, contribute to team culture, recruiting, mentoring junior product associates
  • Ability to coordinate between stakeholders, engineering, and leadership

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (operations, sales, engineering, leadership) and external partners to grow and enhance Velocity Black’s luxury concierge offering and create a premium customer experience
  • Dream up and deliver new luxury concierge features and experiences in partnership with business partners
  • Optimize in-market products through rapid testing while obsessing over the customer experience
  • Think strategically to prioritize the roadmap balancing multiple priorities
  • Work on customer-facing and internal products for Velocity Black Concierge
  • Demonstrate balanced judgment in decisions about risks of actions taken and not taken, innovate on ways to iterate faster
  • Deliver value by creating reusable, extensible, and resilient capabilities, proactively identify opportunities when key metrics on sales, service, and customer engagement are not performing
