Position Overview

Research, design, develop, and test robotic and machine learning applications for a driverless technology company.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop vehicle path planning algorithms.
  • Research, implement, evaluate, and deploy deep-learning based methods for planning for autonomous vehicles.
  • Design and develop complex, highly scalable, and latency-optimized software.
  • Improve and deliver reliable software through continuous integration, automated testing, and code reviews.
  • May telecommute.

Requirements

  • Education: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: One year of work experience as a Robotics Engineer, Machine Learning Engineer, Robotics Intern, or a related occupation.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Optimization and search-based planning & control
    • Artificial Intelligence and Machine learning
    • Vehicle Kinematics and Dynamics Modelling
    • Robotics specific development, debugging, testing and simulation tools (RViz, Gazebo, Unity, ROS, CUDA, Pytorch, or Linux)
    • C++
    • Python

Compensation

  • Base Compensation: $193,000.00 - $205,000.00 Annually
  • Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
