Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field, and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience (or a Master’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience, or a PhD). They require strong knowledge and experience in machine learning, with a proven track record of developing and deploying deep learning solutions using frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow. Furthermore, experience in developing perception systems utilizing sensors such as camera, LiDAR, and RADAR is necessary, along with at least 4 years of development experience in Python/C++ environments.
The Senior Software Engineer will develop auto-labeling and/or data augmentation solutions to address data diversity and annotation needs for onboard perception, collaborating with perception experts and roboticists on algorithm design, prototyping, testing, cloud deployment, and productization. They will develop clean and efficient software for these modules, interfacing with consumer modules, and build and maintain industry-leading software practices while demonstrating initiative and contributing as a valued team member in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
