Candidates should possess a Bachelor's or advanced degree with 8+ years of experience, or a PhD with 5+ years of experience in developing, evaluating, and deploying ML models in production. A deep expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, and data analysis techniques is required, along with a proven track record of deploying ML models in production environments. Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or C++ and experience with ML frameworks such as scikit-learn, SparkML, TensorFlow, or PyTorch are essential. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills are also necessary, as is experience mentoring junior engineers and a passion for continuous learning in the ML field. Experience working with both research and product teams is preferred.
The Senior Machine Learning Engineer will lead the development of machine learning models and systems to address complex business challenges, collaborating with product managers. They will architect and optimize end-to-end ML pipelines, ensuring scalability and robustness. This role involves facilitating alignment among senior leadership, incorporating ML algorithms into Adobe products, and influencing product strategy. Responsibilities also include conducting detailed testing, debugging, and performance tuning of ML models, mentoring junior team members, and publishing technical papers or contributing to open-source projects.
