Requirements
3+ years experience in a laboratory environment
Familiarity with GLP/GMP conditions
High School Diploma (Associate's degree preferred)
Strong attention to detail and capacity to learn data entry for multiple systems & scenarios
Demonstrated capability in analyzing data/situations & problem solving
Basic understanding of MS Office and familiarity with navigating Excel spreadsheets
Able to work independently and on a team
Responsibilities
Brewing coffee samples and submitting for product analysis and cupping
Performing general lab maintenance, utilizing brewing appliances, recording data, labeling, and tracking samples
Ordering and maintaining inventory of all ingredients (green coffee, flavors, etc.) for the team; managing POs as necessary
Supporting Product Development Team in all product development initiatives by preparing experimental formulations at direction of project technical leads
Following proper procedures for good laboratory practices (ensuring security, safety, GMP and quality)
Leading Benchtop lab runs and assuring proper testing methods are taking place in the lab and/or Pilot Research Lab (PRL)
Performing standard operating procedures and test methods relevant to the job
Documenting, summarizing, and reporting data from all product cuppings and studies; making special note of unexpected results or observations
Identifying ways to improve methods and new ways to accomplish tasks
Assisting with customer visit/event logistics as needed
Being an area owner, HSE Key Element, or Quality representative
Representing Product Development on the Coffee PRL calls and coordinating Product Development needs with the PRL team; submitting test requests, coordinating pre-test reviews, monitoring progress of test, and leading inventory management of materials from test
