Senior IT Section Leader-Platform Architect at Goodyear Tire & Rubber

Candidates must have 9+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, proven experience building and scaling customer-facing platforms on AWS, hands-on knowledge of Terraform, GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools like Datadog, strong understanding of Salesforce platform integration, and experience guiding multiple squads from MVP to scalable product using shared patterns and reusable infrastructure.

Preferred experiences include work in high-growth product environments with Lean, Agile, and DevOps culture, familiarity with GenAI tools for platform observability, developer enablement, or support automation, and experience supporting localization and regional deployments with centralized governance.

The position is full time.

Goodyear operates with Innovation Centers in Akron, Ohio, and Colmar-Berg, Luxembourg, focusing on developing state-of-the-art products and services, and promotes a Lean, Agile, and DevOps culture in preferred experiences.

A strong candidate will have 9+ years of experience, a relevant degree, hands-on expertise in AWS platforms, Terraform, CI/CD, Salesforce integrations, and guiding squads from MVP to scale, with preferred experience in Agile/DevOps and GenAI tools.
