Requirements

6+ years of relevant experience in establishing and automating IT processes
Experience managing SaaS applications at scale (e.g., Google Workspace, Slack)
Linux system administration
Managing office network infrastructure (Firewalls, Switches, APs etc.)
Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Chef)
Shell scripting

Responsibilities

Lead IT Operations at Waabi, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment
Develop, implement, and enforce IT policies, standards, and best practices across all sites, ensuring compliance with company security standards and industry regulations
Design, implement, and manage site disaster recovery plans, ensuring business continuity and data integrity
Oversee the procurement, deployment, and lifecycle management of a diverse fleet of IT equipment, including laptops, high-performance workstations, and specialized computing infrastructure
Manage vendor relationships, IT-related budgets, expenses, and assets
Strategically manage and optimize the service desk workflow, ensuring efficient resolution of tickets received via JIRA, email, instant messaging, and verbal requests
Design, configure, and maintain a high-throughput, on-premise network infrastructure
Collaborate closely with Engineering and Research teams to ensure seamless integration, security, and optimal performance of systems and networks supporting AI development
Drive continuous improvement initiatives for IT processes and systems, leveraging automation and innovative solutions
Create and maintain a productive and secure working environment for staff, upholding company security standards and industry best practices
