Candidates should possess 43+ years of experience in data analysis/engineering/science within the capital markets or financial services industry, demonstrating applied knowledge of financial analysis, statistics, and modelling. Proficiency in Python and SQL is required, and experience with NLP/ML/AI is preferred. Prior experience with Databricks, Spark, Redshift, AWS, and other big data and cloud technologies is a plus. A CFA, FRM, or similar designation is preferred, and an undergraduate degree in Mathematics/Statistics, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required, with a Master’s degree being preferred.
The Senior Investment Data Analyst will collaborate with peers to onboard and evaluate a broad array of unique data, leverage financial market expertise to develop new Alternative Data products, perform quantitative and fundamental analyses of new products, build product collateral, work closely with Sales and Marketing teams, and interact directly with clients to answer technical questions about products. The role involves researching and developing innovative data products that produce quantitatively measurable market insights.
