Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant supply/inventory planning or supply chain experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excel proficiency (pivot tables, formulas, macros)
  • Experience with SAP ERP (preferred)
  • Ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively
  • Ability to think strategically while managing tactical and operational aspects of supply and inventory planning
  • Proven ability to work across teams and geographies to drive positive business outcomes
  • Ability to identify issues, analyze data, and make informed decisions in a fast-moving environment
  • Mindset of continuous improvement, with drive to streamline processes and enhance planning systems
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field (will accept suitable combination of education, experience, and training)

Responsibilities

  • Oversee regular weekly purchasing of finished goods, ensuring timely and efficient execution to NBA/WNBA retail strategies
  • Create purchase orders, adjust supply parameters, and analyze opportunities for optimizing supply efficiency
  • Manage tradeoffs related to delivery timing and revenue opportunities, ensuring healthy inventory levels through proactive decision-making
  • Work closely with Planning counterparts, Supply Chain, Merchandising, Brand, and Global Supply & Manufacturing Partners to ensure alignment on inventory targets and delivery expectations
  • Leverage multiple reports and dashboards to track key metrics, identify risks, and drive solutions to ensure on-time delivery and inventory productivity
  • Provide regular updates to business partners on inventory status and performance
  • Address and resolve operational challenges, escalating issues as needed to ensure timely purchasing, on-time delivery, and overall inventory health
  • Contribute to continuous process improvements by identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, optimize planning tools, and refine inventory management practices
