Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security, or a related discipline, and a minimum of 12 or more years of related experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree, along with DoD 8570 compliance at IAM Level II or IAT Level III, such as CASP or CISSP, and an Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency appropriate polygraph.
The Senior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) will provide aid to the program's information assurance program, lend assistance for proposing, coordinating, implementing, and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies, maintain operational security posture, assist with the management of security aspects of the information system, perform day-to-day security operations, evaluate security solutions, perform vulnerability/risk assessment analysis, manage configuration management for security software and hardware, assess the security impact of changes, prepare and review documentation including System Security Plans and Certification and Accreditation packages, assist security authorization activities in compliance with NISCAP and RMF, and support security authorization activities.
