Requirements

  • Provide technical and administrative support to the HR team
  • Accurately maintain employee records
  • Own administration of employment orientation
  • Manage compensation/benefits administration
  • Support execution of cyclical processes
  • Handle workers compensation and payroll
  • Own all required record keeping
  • Interact with Target team members at varying levels (Field and HQ) and external candidates
  • Support staffing needs of the distribution center
  • Ensure teams are set up for employee orientation
  • Ensure compliance with Federal and State employment regulations and company policy in all areas of employment (hiring, promotion, transfers, resignations, terminations)
  • Ensure compensation and benefits programs are executed timely
  • Follow appropriate timekeeping and record keeping practices
  • Assist with compensation and benefits questions
  • Ensure employee training programs are executed timely
  • Maintain accurate records of regulatory and corporate trainings
  • Assist with answering team member inquiries

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic partner to leaders and team members in the distribution center
  • Infuse HR work with Target’s retail brand through experimentation, evolution, and innovation
  • Positively impact teams in distribution centers across the Target network
  • Create a progressive culture of value, respect, reward, and professional advancement
  • Support Distribution Center Operations, Quality Management, and overall Productivity
