Requirements

Working Requirements

• Working Location: Anywhere in Vietnam, remote.
• Citizenship/Visa: Must be a Vietnamese citizen or hold a valid work visa for Vietnam.
• Working Hours: Approximately 8 hours per day, with flexibility. Requires daily communication and prompt response with the team.
• Job Nature: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
• Language: Fluent English for communication with international teams.
• Equipment: A Macbook will be provided for work.

Technical Requirements

• Strong logical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Good communication abilities.
• Proficient in Go, experienced with gRPC, and capable of writing efficient server-side programs.
• Strong database design skills with familiarity in common databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
• Solid knowledge of data structures, strong programming skills, engineering capabilities, and clean coding practices.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS S3, AWS RDS, and related frameworks.
• Proficient in common Git commands and workflows, especially GitHub pull requests.

Bonus Experience

• Prior experience with remote work is preferred.
• Availability to work during the US Eastern Time Zone (9 pm - 5 am Vietnam Time) or at least a 5-hour overlap between 9 pm and 2 am Vietnam Time for effective collaboration.

Benefits

• Salary: Approximately USD $13 - $25 per hour, based on skill level.
• Employment Contract: Administered through a Singapore-based human resources firm.
• Compensation Framework: Hourly wage, presumed full-time employment (8 hours/day, 40 hours/week).
• Bonus Hours for Leave: 12-20 days of bonus hours that can be taken as paid leave.
• Work Equipment: A Mac laptop will be provided.

Recruitment Process

1. After receiving a recommendation from the talent pool and meeting basic requirements, you will be sent a written task.
2. You will have 7 days to complete and submit the task via a GitHub pull request.
3. We encourage demonstrating best coding practices, including task decomposition, code quality, testing, documentation, and Git commits.
