Requirements

Candidates must have at least 8 years of professional software development experience and 6 years of programming experience in a modern language such as Go, Java, C++, or C#. A Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Computer Science or a related field is required. Additionally, candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in contributing to the architecture and design of systems, as well as experience building cloud-deployed applications. Preferred qualifications include 5 years of experience architecting high-scale distributed systems and a solid knowledge of data structures and algorithms.

Responsibilities

The Staff Software Engineer will be responsible for building and launching large, distributed systems in a team-centric environment. They will mentor junior engineers and manage competing priorities while bringing order to ambiguous scenarios. The role requires effective communication across the organization and up to senior leadership, as well as influencing and leading within the team.
