Requirements

Candidates must possess 5+ years of backend software development experience, specifically with Golang or similar languages, and 2+ years of frontend development experience utilizing Vue, React, or comparable frameworks. They should have experience deploying large-scale applications within a CI/CD pipeline, designing and building RESTful APIs, and working with large datastores and cache systems, alongside experience with high traffic, high availability systems and cloud hosting providers such as GCP, AWS, or similar. Additionally, candidates should have experience with mobile software development, either natively or through frameworks like React Native.

Responsibilities

The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality, scalable, and reusable software components for Rockbot's core products, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including Product, QA, and Customer Support to ensure successful product delivery, making impactful decisions regarding product, code architecture, and processes, mentoring and guiding junior engineers, contributing to technical discussions, and serving as a leading voice of engineering within their pod. They will also proactively identify and address problems, seeking solutions to improve processes and outcomes.
