Requirements

8+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain planning within a manufacturing or industrial setting
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration
Transportation Management Systems experience
Strong understanding of inbound logistics processes and carrier management
Demonstrated success in managing transportation budgets and improving cost efficiency
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Deep experience in transportation management and logistics planning
Strong SAP Transportation Management (TM) expertise
Solid understanding of inventory planning

Responsibilities

Oversee all inbound transportation operations to ensure on-time delivery of materials to support production schedules and prevent downtime
Serve as the subject matter expert for transportation processes, systems, and performance within the supply chain organization
Manage and optimize inbound freight budgets, including cost forecasting, carrier performance, and spend analysis
Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of SAP Transportation Management (TM) to ensure accurate shipment visibility, carrier communication, and freight settlement
Develop and maintain KPIs to measure transportation performance, cost efficiency, and supplier compliance
Partner closely with the Inventory Planning team to align inbound logistics with material availability and production needs
Collaborate with Procurement, Manufacturing, and Logistics partners to resolve delivery issues, transportation delays, and supplier performance concerns
Ensure all inbound shipments are accurately tracked, documented, and reconciled in SAP to support real-time visibility and financial accuracy
Identify opportunities to streamline logistics operations, reduce costs, and improve efficiency across the inbound network
Provide leadership and guidance to logistics planners, fostering a culture of accountability, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement
