Requirements

Candidates should have 6+ years of professional software development experience with a strong emphasis on React and modern front-end JavaScript. Advanced knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design best practices is required, along with proven experience designing and implementing scalable, maintainable UI architectures. A strong grasp of user-centered design, information architecture, and visual design principles is necessary. Experience working with or contributing to design systems and a solid understanding of accessibility guidelines (WCAG) and inclusive design are essential. Familiarity with front-end testing practices and a collaborative mindset are also required. Experience with TypeScript, Figma, component-driven development, mentoring developers, and Agile workflows are considered a plus.

Responsibilities

The Senior Frontend Software Developer will maintain and evolve the component library and contribute to the overall design system by defining and maintaining its structure, components, and patterns for scalability, maintainability, and accessibility. They will collaborate cross-functionally with designers, product managers, and developers to deliver a cohesive user experience and provide technical leadership on front-end architecture, ensuring code quality, performance, and adherence to best practices. The role involves championing accessibility by implementing and advocating for inclusive design principles, documenting, educating, and enabling other developers to use and contribute to the design system, and guiding and reviewing contributions to ensure consistency and quality. Additionally, they will stay current with UI/UX trends, tools, and technologies, and collaborate on usability testing and feedback loops to validate design system improvements.
