Requirements

Candidates should possess 7+ years of experience as a frontend or full-stack developer. Excellent JavaScript knowledge in front-end libraries, especially React.js (with class and functional components and hooks), is required. Mastery of JavaScript syntax and front-end essentials like HTML and CSS is necessary. Proficiency with Node.js and at least one other server-side language (Python, Ruby, Java, PHP, or .Net) is essential. Strong experience with state management packages such as Mobx and Redux, and a deep understanding of designing, writing, running, maintaining, and debugging applications across the whole stack in one or more of the listed technologies are also required.

Responsibilities

The Senior Front-End Engineer will translate design concepts into functional, high-quality code, optimizing performance and ensuring scalability. They will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Design, and Backend Engineers, to create responsive, high-performance, and visually stunning web applications. Responsibilities include collaborating with team members to develop robust new features and APIs, continuously improving Deel’s products for high quality and performance, and actively troubleshooting and resolving bugs to maintain DeelSpeed. The role also involves ensuring a seamless, white-glove user experience for customers across all front-end touchpoints.
