Why This Role is Exciting

AuditBoard is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to be a strategic business partner, driving data-driven decision making across our high-growth organization. You will leverage advanced analytics and modern FP&A technologies to transform how we understand and optimize our business performance. This role offers the opportunity to build scalable financial infrastructure, partner directly with business leaders on strategic initiatives, and shape the future of our financial planning capabilities in a dynamic SaaS environment.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Business Partnering: Serve as the primary financial advisor to assigned business units, providing proactive insights and recommendations that drive revenue growth, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making.
  • Advanced Analytics & Insights: Develop sophisticated financial models, conduct scenario planning, and leverage predictive analytics to forecast business performance, identify trends, and quantify strategic opportunities.
  • Dynamic Forecasting & Scenario Modeling: Lead rolling forecasts, driver-based planning, and real-time variance analysis to provide continuous visibility into business performance and trajectory.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to develop KPI frameworks, performance dashboards, and actionable business intelligence.

Attributes for a Successful Candidate

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA, CFA, or advanced analytics certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive FP&A experience, preferably in high-growth SaaS or technology companies.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in Google Workspace and Microsoft Suite platforms, Tableau; experience with cloud-based planning systems a plus.
  • Data Analytics Expertise: Proven ability to work with large datasets, perform statistical analysis, and translate complex data into clear business insights and recommendations.
  • Communication & Influence: Exceptional ability to present complex financial information to executive audiences, influence decision-making, and build trust with business partners.
  • Agile Mindset: Thrives in fast-paced environments, comfortable with ambiguity, and passionate about continuous learning and process improvement.
  • Accountability & Ownership: Takes ownership of deliverables and outcomes, demonstrates bias towards action, and proactively identifies and solves problems without waiting for direction.
