Requirements

  • Senior leadership experience in finance, capable of managing an $800M+ retail sales P&L across multiple operating companies (OLLY and SmartyPants)
  • Expertise in end-to-end P&L management, commercial strategy, execution, FP&A, and business performance
  • Proven ability to deliver monthly, annual, and long-range (3-year) financial and strategic plans
  • Experience leading and developing a team of seven direct reports
  • Strong cross-functional partnering skills with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Wellbeing leadership
  • Ability to collaborate with central teams (Wellbeing Collective) and Unilever Group on targets, reporting, and strategic initiatives
  • Proficiency in performance forums, including internal reviews, quarterly business reviews, and annual operating plans
  • Skills in building FP&A communities and championing performance delivery
  • Expertise in strategic business partnering, financial insights, and evaluating business cases (e.g., Innovation, Transformations, Supply Chain, Investments)
  • Advanced capabilities in reporting, analytics, leveraging AI/tools, and designing agile management reporting
  • Experience in harmonizing reporting, tracking, and performance management processes across companies
  • Talent development experience, including recruitment and capability building programs
  • Ability to build personal/team brand and act as a visible, influential leader

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the full $800M+ retail sales P&L for OLLY and SmartyPants, driving commercial strategy, execution, and performance management
  • Deliver monthly and annual results and develop 3-year strategic and financial plans for sustained growth
  • Manage and develop a high-performing team of seven, fostering accountability, continuous improvement, and high performance
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Overheads across both companies
  • Collaborate with Wellbeing Collective Central Team and Unilever Group to set targets, deliver commitments, align reporting, and evaluate initiatives
  • Own and lead key performance forums: Monthly Performance Reviews, Quarterly Business Reviews with VMS LT, Wellbeing CEO & CFO, Monthly Reviews with Wellbeing, Annual Operating Plan, and Reforecasting
  • Build a strong FP&A community across operating companies, championing performance and target delivery
  • Provide strategic business partnering and financial insights for business cases and in-flight initiatives, recycling learnings into planning
  • Enhance reporting and analytics using advanced tools/AI, upgrade performance frameworks for Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain
  • Collaborate with Data & Analytics teams for agile decision-making reporting
  • Lead harmonization of reporting, tracking, and performance management across OLLY and SmartyPants for consistency and insights
  • Design and launch programs to attract/develop top finance talent, including university recruitment and team capability building
  • Build personal and team brand across business units and locations as a visible leader
