Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Finance or Accounting in a Manufacturing Environment
  • MBA certification/license
  • Prior experience analyzing and forecasting a P&L
  • Exposure to finance responsibility activities in an industrial manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge of SAP
  • Knowledge of US GAAP, reporting, corporate governance and other statutory requirements including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
  • Competencies: Communicate powerfully using multiple styles, leadership, interpersonal skills to work with staff/peers/senior leadership, partner/results-oriented/service-driven, expert at sorting complex issues/making recommendations, impeccable sense of cultural sensitivity, ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Customer-focused with understanding of business reasons for financial results
  • Willingness to travel

Responsibilities

  • Manage financial management of two manufacturing locations (Tecate and Monterrey), collaborating with ISC and non-ISC functions
  • Provide decision support to Plant Managers and Director of Operations
  • Work with leadership teams on financial analysis, issue identification, forecasting, and internal controls
  • Take financial ownership for manufacturing locations, focusing on business decision support, FP&A processes, and internal controls
  • Ensure predictability of financial results by guiding AOP and quarterly forecasting processes
  • Lead monthly review and analysis of plant operating results, monthly forecast, and ad-hoc analytical requirements
  • Communicate essential monthly findings to Plant Manager, Finance Manager, and Director of Operations ahead of Monthly Performance Review (MPR)
  • Review operating results, identify risks/opportunities, and recommend actions to plant leadership to improve operational and financial performance
  • Work with plant leadership to identify productivity opportunities and programs
  • Guide communication between plant operations and departments (BU), providing plant performance info affecting BU costs/margins
  • Align with Central Operations team and other plants to improve and standardize global processes
  • Provide insight beyond P&L on optimizing inventory levels and reviewing capital investments
  • Provide leadership in maintaining proper internal control procedures
  • Coordinate and monitor remediation of financial control issues identified by internal/external auditors
  • Work on special projects as assigned by ISC Leadership Team
