Requirements

10+ years of software development experience on enterprise software
Demonstrated track record of guiding engineers and projects within an agile setting
Ardent desire to drive engineering excellence across teams
Highly motivated, works well in a dynamic collaborative team environment
Experience building and maintaining high-scale, data intensive distributed systems
Ability to lead complex projects and deliver solutions under time and resource pressure
Deep understanding and hands-on experience in Java (or similar)
Phenomenal communication and collaboration skills
B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience in engineering

Responsibilities

Mentor and guide a strong team of engineers, recruit and retain valuable team members
Develop and assume accountability for crucial elements of the offerings and deliver them for production
Brainstorm and prototype new concepts and approaches
Review features, architecture, design, code, time & budget estimates, and test strategies
Articulate the design and code choices to multi-functional teams
Collaborate with product management and other engineering teams to create the technical vision and roadmap for the team
Drive multiple simultaneous projects, mitigate risks, solve problems, and deliver on time
Develop and evolve engineering and business processes to optimise team efficiency
Partner with other teams across Adobe for achieving common goals, specifically Design and Program Management teams
Learn new technologies/technical solutions
