Requirements

  • 10+ years of software development experience on enterprise software
  • Demonstrated track record of guiding engineers and projects within an agile setting
  • Ardent desire to drive engineering excellence across teams
  • Highly motivated, works well in a dynamic collaborative team environment
  • Experience building and maintaining high-scale, data intensive distributed systems
  • Ability to lead complex projects and deliver solutions under time and resource pressure
  • Deep understanding and hands-on experience in Java (or similar)
  • Phenomenal communication and collaboration skills
  • B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience in engineering

Responsibilities

  • Mentor and guide a strong team of engineers, recruit and retain valuable team members
  • Develop and assume accountability for crucial elements of the offerings and deliver them for production
  • Brainstorm and prototype new concepts and approaches
  • Review features, architecture, design, code, time & budget estimates, and test strategies
  • Articulate the design and code choices to multi-functional teams
  • Collaborate with product management and other engineering teams to create the technical vision and roadmap for the team
  • Drive multiple simultaneous projects, mitigate risks, solve problems, and deliver on time
  • Develop and evolve engineering and business processes to optimise team efficiency
  • Partner with other teams across Adobe for achieving common goals, specifically Design and Program Management teams
  • Learn new technologies/technical solutions
