Requirements

Extensive knowledge of Azure infrastructure, services, and offerings, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Networking, and Azure Active Directory
Successful track record in designing, implementing, and managing systems and infrastructure in a cloud computing environment, including multi-cloud hybrid architectures
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field
4+ years of industry experience and 3+ years of working experience with Azure cloud platform
Proven experience as an Azure Cloud Professional, with a strong focus on designing and implementing Azure-based solutions
Experience with DevOps and IaC tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, Docker, Terraform, Azure Resource Manager (ARM), and Kubernetes

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage highly available and scalable cloud infrastructure on the Azure platform
Collaborate with stakeholders and application teams to understand business requirements, translate them into cloud deployments, and provide operational support to application teams
Develop and maintain cloud migration strategies, including assessing existing systems, identifying gaps, and recommending remediation plans
Ensure the security, availability, and performance of Azure resources through proper design and configuration
Implement and optimize cloud-based solutions, including virtual networks, storage, compute resources, and identity management
Define and enforce cloud governance policies, including resource tagging, access controls, and cost management
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to Azure infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance
Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in Azure and cloud computing technologies and provide recommendations for continuous improvement
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and security specialists, to ensure seamless integration of cloud solutions
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
Ensure the security and compliance of all Sysco’s infrastructure, data, applications, and configurations
Implement cloud adoption/migration strategies for the Organization
Design/Develop Scripts for Automation where appropriate
