Requirements

  • High-initiative, collaborative, and proven leader willing to roll up sleeves to build and scale US new business sales organization
  • Committed to traveling up to 50% of the time in the field with the sales team
  • Proven experience building a U.S. new business sales strategy and team in a mid to late-stage technology company
  • Proven experience implementing a multi-pronged sales strategy, including a hunter model with both Inside Sales and Outside Sales motions
  • Proven experience recruiting, mentoring, and developing a high-performance sales team that consistently achieves and exceeds objectives

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement overall sales strategy for US new business market aligned with company’s global goals, including hunter model to achieve/exceed new logo MRR bookings goal
  • Define and implement territory planning strategy aligned with Geoforce market and solution strategy for geographic and industry coverage
  • Lead long-term sales planning, including revenue forecasting, market expansion strategies, and budgeting
  • Identify new business opportunities and market trends to drive growth in collaboration with Senior Leadership team, Marketing, and Business Development
  • Lead and manage new business sales team, including recruiting, training, mentoring, and performance management of Account Executives and Inside Sales Managers (current team size: six hunters, with potential to scale)
  • Set and monitor sales targets, KPIs, and performance goals for the new business sales team
  • Foster high-performance culture through guidance, coaching, and motivation to ensure team meets goals
  • Implement disciplined win/loss process to engage qualified opportunities and communicate issues to product management
  • Implement culture of achieving all targets with 80/80 rule (at least 80% of Account Executives achieve 80% of MRR bookings quota quarterly and annually)
  • Aggressively manage underperformance, including implementing Account Executive Sales Success plans for targets like new logo MRR bookings, activity, lead management, and opportunity conversion
