Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training)
  • 12+ years of progressive product management experience, including 5+ years in a senior leadership capacity
  • 7+ years strong foundation in distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, and data platforms
  • Deep expertise in at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI
  • Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, AWS RDS, Azure SQL, or GCP Cloud SQL, Apache Spark, and Apache Airflow
  • Strong understanding of Lakehouse architecture, Data Mesh principles, data governance frameworks, and modern data pipelines
  • Proven ability to deliver high-impact, API-first services at scale
  • Proven leadership in managing extra-large, complex product portfolios with cross-functional influence
  • Experience driving major transformation programs (e.g., modernization, platform unification, data strategy)
  • Proven capability in building, mentoring, and retaining high-performing product teams at scale
  • Demonstrated success influencing C-level stakeholders and technology leadership

Responsibilities

  • Lead and scale a team of Technical Product Managers responsible for building Nike’s next-generation data services platform
  • Drive the design and development of API-first, Tier-1, business-critical data services that are secure, scalable, and resilient
  • Partner with business-facing products, engineering, and platform teams to define and execute the technical roadmap for Nike’s Lakehouse and Data Mesh strategy
  • Champion best practices in data governance, data pipelines, and platform observability
  • Foster a culture of Technical Product excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align Product-led initiatives with Nike’s broader business and technology goals
  • Manage executive stakeholder relationships and drive alignment on complex, cross-functional initiatives
  • Ensure product investments support scalability, resilience, and long-term business agility
  • Create and govern frameworks for product lifecycle management, OKRs, and KPIs
  • Oversee the full spectrum of platform and technical products that power enterprise-scale systems, set vision and strategy, influence technology direction, and drive enterprise impact through team leadership, innovation, and cross-functional alignment
