Requirements

  • Significant experience managing commercial biopharma programs
  • Deep expertise in the commercialization phase of the biopharma lifecycle
  • Ability to serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on commercial product project management
  • Leadership experience leading a team of product and project management professionals

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of product managers (PMs) to support PDM Product Strategy Leads and Product Teams, including identifying and sharing best practices across Product Strategy Teams
  • Serve as SME on commercial product PM, drawing upon deep knowledge of commercial product milestones
  • Use and provide feedback on templated tools and processes for the PDM Team System (e.g., tools for capturing a product’s strategy on a single page)
  • Work in partnership with PDM Product Strategy Leads to develop, gain approval for, and execute product strategies, including key milestones, budgeting, and resource allocation
  • Support PDM Operations Management’s implementation and iteration of G.Plan (Planisware) and G.Plan product templates
  • Support the flow of accurate data into PDM milestone planning and resource-allocation tools (G.Plan)
  • Oversee Director-level PMs leading non-product strategic initiatives contributing to broader organizational priorities
  • Report to the Executive Director of Product & Project Management within the PDM organization
