Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with a Master's degree being preferred. A minimum of 15 years of progressive IT leadership experience, including executive-level roles, is required. Proven experience in cloud migration and infrastructure modernization, managing global or multi-site IT teams and vendors, and a background in compliance-heavy industries are essential. Expertise in hybrid and cloud environments (Azure, AWS), strong knowledge of enterprise IT operations and application ecosystems, and a deep understanding of governance, risk, and compliance frameworks are necessary. Strategic planning, budgeting, project management, and exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills are also required. Occasional travel and rare on-call availability are expected.
The Senior Director of Infrastructure will define and execute a multi-year infrastructure roadmap, lead cloud modernization initiatives on Azure and AWS, and oversee enterprise IT operations including helpdesk, collaboration platforms, identity management, and enterprise applications. They will drive automation using Terraform, PowerShell, and Bash, and implement disaster recovery, business continuity, and incident response strategies. This role involves ensuring alignment with frameworks like PCI, SOC, NIST, and GovRAMP, partnering with Security and Compliance teams, and leading infrastructure-related audits. Additionally, the director will build, mentor, and inspire high-performing teams, partner with business leaders, manage vendor relationships and technology investments, and foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and operational excellence.
