Requirements

  • Leadership experience in enterprise risk management (ERM) and internal audit
  • Ability to report to Vice President, Enterprise Risk and Chief Audit Executive (CAE)
  • Expertise in developing and managing ERM programs, frameworks, and roadmaps
  • Strong advisory skills for senior management and Board of Directors
  • Proficiency in GRC technology and risk management tools
  • Experience conducting Enterprise Risk Assessments (ERA) and developing risk-based audit plans
  • Knowledge of KRIs, risk identification, oversight, and monitoring processes
  • Skills in facilitating risk committees, workshops, and training
  • Team building and development capabilities for enterprise risk talent
  • Ability to work onsite 80% of the time in Atlanta Support Center

Responsibilities

  • Set vision and direction for ERM department, balancing advisory services, risk management, and governance
  • Develop, establish, and manage department objectives aligned with company strategic objectives and key risks
  • Provide guidance on material risks, escalations, communications, and training in changing business environments
  • Act as trusted advisor for designing, implementing, and maintaining a modernized ERM program
  • Develop an integrated Enterprise Risk framework aligning strategic insights with risk practices
  • Manage ERM roadmap, including milestones, technology implementation, and staffing strategy
  • Build relationships with business and management teams
  • Advance GRC and relevant technologies for efficiency and integrated risk management
  • Conduct annual Enterprise Risk Assessment (ERA) and support Internal Audit plan development
  • Facilitate, coordinate, and manage ERA and related risk activities company-wide
  • Refine and review ERM framework elements, including risk processes, templates, KRIs, and monitoring
  • Evaluate organizational risks to inform and prioritize risk-based audit plans
  • Provide guidance and tools to risk owners for risk management, KRIs, threats, response plans, and reporting
  • Deliver actionable insights to senior leadership to close control gaps, improve governance, and reduce risks
  • Coordinate and plan Enterprise Risk Committee (ERC) and Risk Working Group (RWG) sessions and workshops
  • Collaborate with ER&IA leadership to ensure risk-based audit activities
  • Promote risk awareness in business processes and strategic initiatives
  • Plan and execute audit projects per department standards, identifying risks in areas under review
  • Sponsor audit projects assessing risk mitigation in Financial (SOX 404), Operational, and Strategic risks
  • Support strategic initiatives with proactive risk mitigation
  • Build, grow, and develop a team of enterprise risk talent for department objectives and execution
