Requirements

  • Senior Director level experience as a People Leader
  • Expertise and leadership in product design, including interaction, visual, and service design
  • Ability to lead a talented, cross-disciplinary team of design leaders and designers
  • Deep collaboration skills with research teams, Product, and Technology leadership
  • Experience identifying and advocating for high-leverage opportunities with executive stakeholders

  • Understanding of commercial card experiences, including onboarding/managing business teams, credit cards, rewards, payments, vendor management, spend controls, ERP/accounting/HR integrations, corporate cards, and digital wallets

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Commercial Card Experience team within the Experience Design organization
  • Deliver software suites that help businesses run operations confidently, through spending time with financial managers/operators, understanding needs, co-creating solutions, and celebrating successes
  • Identify and advocate for high-leverage opportunities with executive stakeholders
  • Lead high-impact, highly complex design projects that set the bar for experience excellence and drive business outcomes
  • Envision, design, deliver, and optimize experiences across channels and emerging technologies for products like business credit cards, rewards, payments, vendor management, spend controls, ERP integrations, cashflow monitoring, insights, corporate cards, and digital wallets
  • Elevate the quality and maturity of the design practice at Capital One
  • Oversee and optimize the use of tools, platforms, frameworks, and design systems in collaboration with cross-functional partners
