Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on antenna design experience and a strong track record of taking concepts through production
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Antenna Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Proven experience in the design, development, and integration of RF and antenna systems—automotive or consumer electronics experience preferred
  • Strong background in antenna validation, including test plan development, execution, and performance analysis
  • Solid understanding of RF fundamentals, antenna theory, EMC principles, and simulation tools (e.g., CST, HFSS)
  • Demonstrated adaptability, with the ability to quickly learn new technologies and navigate changing priorities
  • Experience with digital key technologies such as UWB, NFC, and BLE is highly desirable
  • Proficient with RF test equipment including spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and anechoic chambers
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong attention to detail
  • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across diverse teams

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end design and development of antenna systems for digital key applications, including concept development, detailed design, prototyping, and production release
  • Perform antenna integration activities and collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and software teams to ensure strong system performance and seamless vehicle integration
  • Create and execute robust validation plans for antenna systems, including lab testing, vehicle-level testing, and field evaluations to ensure performance meets requirements and industry standards
  • Analyze test data, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions and design improvements
  • Stay informed on emerging antenna technologies, industry trends, and regulatory requirements to support innovation and maintain competitive advantage
  • Adapt effectively to evolving requirements, new technologies, and a fast-paced development environment
  • Document design specifications, test procedures, validation results, and related technical materials with accuracy and clarity
  • Support manufacturing and production teams by troubleshooting antenna-related concerns and providing technical guidance
