Requirements

  • University degree in business administration, marketing, communication, or a related field
  • 2–3 years (or more) of hands-on experience in digital marketing post-graduation, or 5–7 years after undergraduate study
  • Strong understanding of client accounts—their business, products, markets, teams, and external influences—and the ability to communicate this clearly to media and account teams
  • Solid grasp of traditional public relations tools, with the ability to recommend a variety of strategies and tactics to clients
  • Relevant knowledge of digital platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, YouTube), public relations tools, and event execution
  • Capable of working effectively with junior client contacts and providing sound, actionable counsel

Responsibilities

  • Build trusted advisor–level relationships with clients and influencers
  • Organize and lead effective brainstorming sessions and client meetings with confidence
  • Clearly and thoughtfully articulate points of view
  • Serve as the day-to-day lead on client accounts
  • Deliver high-quality work on time and within budget/deadlines
  • Advise on vendors and venues, manage negotiations, and coordinate with multiple stakeholders
  • Develop budgets and prepare quotations
  • Take events from concept through to execution
  • Provide basic guidance on utilization and efficiencies to AAE/AE team members
  • Prepare and manage invoices
  • Accurately compile and translate media monitoring reports
  • Conduct thorough media monitoring and research, including online monitoring and reporting
  • Interpret data to recommend follow-up actions and identify issues with recommendations for client accounts
  • Prepare final client-ready reports
  • Suggest practical digital solutions, ideas, and approaches
  • Guide campaign strategies and translate monitoring and research into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Counsel clients and support junior team members
