DevOps Engineer

Position Overview

Oddball is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join a pivotal Federal program that is making a positive impact on millions of Americans' daily lives. Responsibilities

  • Working hand in hand with great DevOps engineers building out DevOps best practices in the federal space.
  • Creating and documenting CI/CD jobs.
  • Creating infrastructure with Terraform.
  • Writing Ansible playbooks.
  • Building tools.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen and able to work domestically.
  • Must be able to attain a low-level security clearance.
  • Experience with Github Actions, Jenkins, CI/CD, and DataDog (migrating from Dynatrace).
  • Experience with both AWS and Azure cloud environments.
  • Ability to create and support AWS environments (ECS, S3, RDS, Lambda).
  • Skill in developing and improving CI/CD scripts and services for development and deployment.
  • Experience with Docker and container investigation.
  • Experience working with and supporting Terraform, CloudFormation, or other IaC tools.
  • Experience working in Agile software development teams.
  • A team player with the desire and ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of developers, managers, and product managers.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with the ATO review process and/or security frameworks.

  • Bachelor’s degree

Compensation

  • United States Wage Range: $120,000 – $160,000
    • Note: Actual offer details are determined by job category, job location, and candidate skill level.
