Requirements

  • 5+ years in DevOps, Cloud, or SRE roles
  • Strong experience with GCP, Kubernetes (GKE), IAM, Cloud Storage, VPC networking, security best practices, and Terraform
  • Proven CI/CD expertise (GitLab, Jenkins) and scripting in Bash, Python, or Go
  • Hands-on work with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
  • Ownership mindset, focus on quality, and continuous improvement
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab or Jenkins, including automation of build and deployment workflows
  • Strong background in monitoring and logging (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic)
  • Nice to have
  • Experience with ScaleOps or other cloud automation/orchestration platforms
  • Familiarity with multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure)
  • Experience with Ansible or other configuration management tools
  • Experience with FluxCD or other Continuous Delivery tools
  • Experience with Cilium/Calico or other K8s CNI tools
  • Experience with Istio or other Service Mesh for K8s tools

Responsibilities

  • Mentor DevOps engineers and promote a culture of automation and innovation
  • Design and implement scalable automation for infrastructure and deployments across GCP and on-prem
  • Architect secure, compliant environments using Terraform, Vault, and GKE
  • Manage and harden Kubernetes clusters; automate Vault policies and secret management
  • Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines (GitLab or Jenkins) for secure, efficient delivery
  • Optimize performance, cost, and developer productivity through automation
  • Improve observability, reliability, and incident response under the “You Build It, You Run It” philosophy
  • Manage and secure Kubernetes (GKE and on-prem) clusters, ensuring proper configuration, access control, and scalability
  • Configure and maintain HashiCorp Vault for secure management of secrets and sensitive data
  • Implement Vault policies and access controls to safeguard secrets and enforce least-privilege principles
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines integrating GCP, Kubernetes, and Vault for automated, secure deployments
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud and on-prem environments using observability tools
  • Participate in on-call rotations and drive continuous improvement under our “You Build It, You Run It” philosophy
