Requirements

Candidates must have proven experience in a DevOps or build and release engineering role, with deep, hands-on experience in the Bazel build system. Extensive experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab CI, Jenkins, or CircleCI is required, along with proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and strong experience with containerization technologies like Docker. Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills are essential, as is a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

The DevOps Engineer will design, implement, and manage scalable CI/CD pipelines for backend, frontend, and machine learning services, and own and optimize the Bazel build system for fast, reliable builds. They will collaborate with engineering teams to improve developer experience, manage build and deployment infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code, and implement security best practices within the CI/CD process. Responsibilities also include troubleshooting complex issues in the build and deployment pipeline and staying current with CI/CD and cloud technologies for continuous improvement.
