Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Computer Science or Engineering, and have 3-7 years of relevant DevOps experience. They should have hands-on experience with DevOps concepts and tools including Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD), Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory/Nexus, and a strong understanding of programming languages like Python, Ruby, or Java. Experience with building, designing, and maintaining cloud-based applications on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, along with knowledge of container and container orchestration tools such as Docker, AWS ECS, and Kubernetes, is also required. Furthermore, experience working with Linux-based infrastructure and a solid understanding of data protection, privacy, and security domains are essential qualifications.
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, the individual will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operations. They will automate, manage, and optimize the deployment and infrastructure of applications on public clouds like AWS, Azure, or GCP, collaborating with development and operations teams to identify and address bottlenecks in the software development lifecycle. The role involves troubleshooting and resolving issues related to application development, deployment, and operations, monitoring and managing infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability, and selecting the best tools and technologies to meet business needs. Additionally, they will contribute to ensuring the quality and reliability of software products through continuous integration, delivery, and deployment processes.
