Requirements

The ideal candidate possesses over 5 years of experience in DevOps or SRE roles and demonstrates deep expertise in Kubernetes cluster deployment, upgrades, and migration. Proven experience in designing and implementing highly available cloud environments (AWS, Azure, OCI) and on-premise solutions is essential, along with in-depth knowledge of Kubernetes design patterns, including Istio, Operators, CNIs, API Gateways, and autoscaling. Proficiency in infrastructure provisioning tools like Terraform and Ansible, and application deployment tools such as Helm and kustomize, is required. Experience setting up monitoring, logging, and alerting for Kubernetes clusters and troubleshooting issues at various levels is also necessary. The candidate must be able to participate in on-call shifts and work after hours for application releases.

Responsibilities

The Senior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing high-availability Kubernetes clusters with over 1000 nodes in cloud and on-premise environments. They will enhance automation, improve observability, and ensure the high availability of mission-critical systems. Responsibilities include automating pipelines, designing and developing Kubernetes Operators to streamline operations, and deploying storage solutions for the Kubernetes platform. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve these goals.
