Requirements

  • 5+ years in DevOps or cloud engineering roles
  • Deep hands-on experience with AWS, including security, performance tuning, and cost management
  • Proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, Jenkins, DataDog, and scripting languages (Python, Bash)
  • Strong understanding of networking, cloud security, CI/CD best practices, and Windows Server/IIS administration
  • Proven ability to mentor engineers and lead DevOps initiatives
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to clearly explain technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
  • Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship (role not open to F1 OPT, STEM OPT, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Administer and optimize AWS environments for security, performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and AWS services to ensure smooth, reliable deployments
  • Implement and maintain Terraform, Ansible, and other IaC tools for consistent, repeatable infrastructure provisioning
  • Leverage DataDog to proactively detect, analyze, and resolve issues
  • Manage Kubernetes and container workflows to improve efficiency and scalability
  • Continuously tune cloud resources for optimal performance and cost efficiency
  • Enable self-service infrastructure for developers through GitOps, APIs, UIs, and automated tooling
  • Manage Windows Servers, IIS, SSL/TLS certificates, patching, hardening, and troubleshoot performance issues
  • Rapidly resolve complex issues across cloud environments (incident management & troubleshooting)
  • Implement cloud security best practices and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Guide junior engineers, foster learning, and promote DevOps best practices across teams
