Responsibilities

  • Develop technical and functional specifications based on software design and performance requirements.
  • Support data modeling and requirements definition mapping.
  • Provide maintenance and continuity for client projects, with over 5 years of direct client experience.
  • Focus on 70% code development and modification, and 30% troubleshooting.
  • Offer client support, including troubleshooting, software upgrades, and enhancements.
  • Develop software extensions and integrations using specific APIs.
  • Ensure code quality through unit testing and code reviews.
  • Perform intermediate system configuration and customization.
  • Execute intermediate installations of tools to support development.
  • Provide status reporting within DevOps tools.
  • Engage in DevOps development.
  • Support PTC products, including Teamcenter development.
  • Provide Windchill application support.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Communicate with customers in the USA, Europe, and Asia.
  • Perform intermediate system administrative responsibilities.
  • Execute Data Migration tasks, including Data Analysis and Migration using an ETL process.
  • Commit to meeting customer service metrics and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Provide effective status reporting to the team and clients.
  • Manage requirements from multiple clients simultaneously.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary and cross-cultural teams.
  • Contribute to internal initiatives and tool building.
  • Assist in the development of technology demonstrations as required by Rockwell Automation.

Requirements

  • Education: Degree in Computer Science, Digital Systems, Software Development, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of development experience in Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, .NET, SQL, or related languages.
    • Proven experience in troubleshooting.
    • Experience with Relational and Non-Relational databases.
    • Experience in functional support and user enablement.
    • Experience executing system configuration changes and application enhancements.
    • Proficiency in leading software development practices and technical documentation (requirements, functional specifications, test plans, etc.).
    • Exposure to AWS and/or Azure cloud environments.
    • Basic understanding of business requirements and translating them into well-engineered technical solutions, with a strong attention to detail.
