Responsibilities
The Senior Data Specialist will be responsible for leading data engineering efforts, utilizing skills in MapReduce, HDFS, Spark (Pyspark, Scala), ETL, SQL (Basic + Advanced), Hive, Data Warehousing, Modern Data Platform Fundamentals, Data Modelling Fundamentals, PLSQL, T-SQL, and Stored Procedures. The role involves hands-on data engineering, potentially using web crawling tools, and leading offshore teams.
