Requirements

4+ years experience supporting seller side e-commerce, or product/engineering teams as an analyst or in a quantitative role extracting meaning from sophisticated data sets
Understanding of two-sided marketplaces and e-commerce processes
Proficiency in SQL and some experience with Python or R
Fluent in English
Ability to be present in Etsy’s Mexico City Office once or twice per week (candidates within commutable distance preferred)

Responsibilities

Develop insights from trends and research in seller data
Work with seller product teams to ensure launches are impactful and improve the seller experience
Build foundational scripts using SQL and database skills
Craft outstanding dashboards and visualizations using Looker
Participate in dialogues with external vendors and collaborators, including technical developers
Connect with partners on timelines, priorities, and expectations for proposals
Continually evaluate and refine technical toolkit; share learnings with the team
Lead and collaborate with product, design, engineering, and research to drive insights and shape the seller service roadmap
Build and discover insights for sellers, monitor and improve performance/adoption of seller tools, and ensure smooth onboarding for new sellers
