Candidates should have a Master's or advanced degree in Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative analytical field, with a PhD strongly preferred. They need 2-5 years of relevant experience in retail, e-commerce, or a similar data-driven industry. Proven hands-on experience with Media Mix Modeling (MMM), Bayesian MCMC frameworks, Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA), causal inference, and/or stochastic programming is required. Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis and modeling, strong organizational skills for managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and excellent communication and mentorship skills are also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Senior Data Scientist will lead the design and implementation of analytical solutions to improve marketing investment effectiveness, driving the adoption of MMM, MTA, and causal inference methodologies. They will apply expertise in Bayesian MCMC frameworks and stochastic programming to develop scalable models, define data requirements, and write/optimize complex Python and SQL queries. This role involves bridging technical and business teams, translating complex findings into actionable recommendations, and effectively communicating with both technical and non-technical audiences. The position requires independently leading end-to-end projects in ambiguous environments, setting and managing timelines, coordinating across teams, synthesizing insights from diverse data sources, and anticipating stakeholder needs to drive impactful recommendations.
