Requirements

Candidates should have 5+ years of experience in a data science, ML engineer, or similar role, preferably in a product-led environment, with proven experience deploying predictive models in production. Proficiency in Python (e.g., scikit-learn, pandas) and SQL is required, along with comfort using cloud data platforms like Snowflake and AWS. The ability to clearly communicate data findings to non-technical stakeholders is essential. Experience in fitness, wellness, or consumer behavior domains is a plus.

Responsibilities

The Senior Data Scientist will build and refine machine learning models for predicting member churn, forecasting class demand, and segmenting behavioral patterns. Responsibilities include prototyping intelligent dashboard features like forecasting, benchmarking, smart recommendations, and alerts. The role involves enriching internal models with external data sources, collaborating with Engineering and Product teams to productize models, monitoring performance, and iterating based on results. Staying current with ML/AI advancements and testing new ideas to bring value to customers are also key duties.
