Requirements

Candidates must have 7+ years of experience developing and productionizing impactful ML/AI solutions, along with 6+ years of programming experience in R/Python and SQL. Preferred qualifications include 10+ years of experience building sophisticated and scalable solutions, experience in Insurance or Healthcare data for risk models, a Master's degree or PhD in a STEM field, experience with Agile environments, cloud computing platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure), and experiment design (A/B testing, randomized-controlled trials, factorial design). A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required.

Responsibilities

The Principal Data Scientist will build and deliver machine learning models into production to provide insights to key business partners. They will develop a data science roadmap to meet near-term needs and advance data science capabilities, setting the standard for operational rigor across data science and engineering teams. This role involves working with multi-disciplinary teams to drive impact and creating/maintaining technical documentation for the platform.
