Who You Are? (Role Overview)
In 2024, the Data Platform Engineering team is implementing data processing tasks on a next-generation data platform, aiming to optimize data storage, processing, application, and interfaces. This role involves:
- Engaging in technical decision-making, custom development, integration, and performance optimization.
- Developing service layer infrastructure components and data processing systems.
- Contributing to the development of data architectures (such as Lake House) to reduce data latency.
- Advocating for high-quality software engineering practices and establishing scalable data infrastructure.
- Providing guidance to junior engineers.
Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience as a data engineer.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/CE/CIS, or equivalent experience.
- Programming Languages: Knowledge of Kotlin / Java / Scala / Python / SQL.
