Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, and have at least 8 years of relevant experience in data engineering. They must demonstrate expertise in object-oriented programming, specifically Scala or Java, and experience producing and deploying Spark pipelines. Strong SQL skills and familiarity with Apache Airflow or similar orchestration tools are required, alongside a solid understanding of AWS services such as IAM, EC2, and S3.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will lead initiatives to build, expand, and improve real-world entity identification datasets, coordinating with downstream stakeholders to ensure dependencies are met. You will design and build new pipelines to increase identification coverage and detect errors, collaborating closely with a data science team to enable the development of new ML/AI models. Furthermore, you will provide insights into optimizing existing pipelines for performance and cost-efficiency, and create descriptive plans for new feature implementation.
