Candidates should have over 6 years of experience in product analytics, preferably in a B2B setting, with a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field like mathematics, statistics, or engineering, or a behavioral science degree with strong statistical skills. Proficiency in SQL and Python is essential, along with demonstrated experience in transforming ambiguous business problems into statistically rigorous analyses and solutions. Strong communication, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a high degree of autonomy, ownership, and velocity are also required. Experience with companies like Shopify, Amazon, or Uber, customer empathy, experience in early-stage companies, and familiarity with generative AI concepts are considered bonuses.
The Senior Data Analyst will leverage data analysis to provide recommendations that enhance Dandy's service, focusing on growing recurring revenue, improving customer retention, and enhancing product experience through increased feature usage. Key responsibilities include acting as a strategic thought partner, developing and sharing insights to drive product and revenue teams, defining data language (KPIs, dashboards), designing and executing A/B experiments, facilitating rapid decision-making through ad hoc analysis and data democratization, and mentoring other analysts to uplevel the data organization.
