Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or equivalent, with over 7 years of experience in Analytics or Business Intelligence. A minimum of 5 years of experience in complex data analysis using SQL and developing visualizations in Tableau or similar BI tools is required, along with 3 years of experience with dbt and Snowflake. Expertise in relational and dimensional database structures, principles, and best practices is essential, as is proven ability to collaborate with Data Engineering teams on data platform architecture. Experience working in Agile SCRUM teams and strong project management skills are also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Senior Data Analyst will serve as the primary data partner for key business teams, defining analytics roadmaps and prioritizing projects. Responsibilities include developing data visualizations, dashboards, and reports in Tableau, crafting complex SQL queries for ad hoc analysis, and translating complex data findings into compelling stories for diverse audiences. The role involves collaborating with Data Engineering teams to evolve the data warehouse, building and maintaining the Data Catalog, establishing data quality and governance best practices, identifying platform performance improvements, defining SLAs for data products with engineering teams, and mentoring junior data team members.
