Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related technical field. A minimum of two years of experience in sales engineering, technical or solutions consulting, post-sales technical delivery, or data science roles is required, along with strong written and oral presentation skills, technical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, and experience in building and operating communities of practice. The ability to navigate ambiguity, build consensus, foster accountability, work with urgency, and tailor messaging to diverse technical audiences is essential. Hands-on experience with data storage and computing infrastructure (SQL, Kubernetes, etc.) and proficiency with Python, R, SQL are preferred. Dataiku advanced designer, Snowflake SnowPro Core, and Databricks Business Analyst certifications are a plus. Willingness to travel up to 25% is also required.
The Senior Customer Success Engineer will focus on onboarding customers, increasing user adoption, retention, and satisfaction by leveraging deep technical knowledge of the Dataiku platform and educating customers on best practices. They will develop a deep understanding of customer business needs and use cases to guide their success, execute demonstrations of new product features, and conduct hands-on workshops. Regular touch points with customers will be established to advise on using Dataiku for specific business needs, including hands-on support. Programs will be executed to create self-sustaining enablement and evangelism within customer accounts. Collaboration with Account Executives and Sales Engineers will drive customer engagement and identify expansion opportunities. The role involves documenting and sharing adoption status for internal forecasting and renewal, collaborating with marketing on customer stories, and coaching administrators and users to initiate support tickets for technical issues. Staying current on Dataiku's products, competitive landscape, and data science trends is also a key responsibility.
