Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (Master's preferred) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields
5–8 years of working experience in the automotive industry, networking, security, embedded software in data centers, or cloud services
Well-versed in software development processes of embedded products
Ability to review and critique product requirement specifications, design, and functional specifications
Experience defining test strategy and developing detailed end-to-end solution test plans and test cases
Ability to develop, review, and modify Python scripts to enhance test coverage
Familiarity with common test frameworks such as PyTest, Playwright, Behave, or similar
Proficiency with the Linux command line and skill in shell scripting / Python coding
Solid understanding of automotive networking infrastructure (including transition from LIN, CAN, CAN FD to Ethernet, and how ECUs work together within a vehicle)

Responsibilities

Collaborate with product, development, and other teams to define testing strategies for projects
Develop detailed test plans based on specifications and execute test cases via automation or manual testing
Triage integration issues reported by partners and field problems from real vehicle testing; reproduce problems in-house and assist development team in identifying root cause and solutions
Act as gatekeeper for each release, representing customer voice and providing constructive feedback
Identify areas of improvement in test coverage and methodology, and provide concrete suggestions
Track testing activities including schedule, resources, requirements, defects, and resolution for stakeholder alignment
Escalate potential issues (Software, Hardware, Resources) to Project Manager / Executive team
Support major test events with partners on site
