Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to interact with various internal and external stakeholders are essential. The ideal candidate should be proactive, results-driven, and take ownership of their work. They must also possess the ability to multi-task, work as a team player with strong communication skills, and demonstrate strong drafting skills.
The Senior Counsel will coordinate with local counsel across multiple jurisdictions to devise optimal legal paths to market. They will provide advice and support to various teams within Airwallex and review and update compliance manuals and policies. The role includes liaising with senior stakeholders globally, managing external counsel on regulatory matters, developing regulatory submissions and filings, negotiating complex agreements, and supporting government relations outreach.
