Requirements

  • BS/BA in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience). MBA or advanced degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus
  • 8+ years of experience in the Semiconductor industry, at a global, high-tech corporation
  • Understanding of manufacturing operations, inventory, and cost accounting
  • Experience with ERP systems (preference for SAP or other leading ERP system)
  • Ability to multitask, work independently, and in teams to identify and tackle problems enthusiastically and clearly identify key issues
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), including bridging communication between Finance and Operations

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Finance, Engineering, and Operations to determine product costs, bill of materials (BOM), and overhead, ensuring accurate costing
  • Analyze production variances (forecast vs. actual) with understanding, explanation, and resolution
  • Participate in monthly and quarter-close financial close and reconciliation
  • Participate in inventory forecast and supply/demand analysis
  • Conduct quarterly inventory reserve analysis and generate reports for management
  • Identify and support continual process and procedure improvements for increased efficiency of data management for analysis
  • Build relevant ad hoc analysis for business insight and effective decision-making, related to key strategic Finance initiatives
