Requirements

BS/BA in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience). MBA or advanced degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus
8+ years of experience in the Semiconductor industry, at a global, high-tech corporation
Understanding of manufacturing operations, inventory, and cost accounting
Experience with ERP systems (preference for SAP or other leading ERP system)
Ability to multitask, work independently, and in teams to identify and tackle problems enthusiastically and clearly identify key issues
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), including bridging communication between Finance and Operations

Responsibilities

Partner with Finance, Engineering, and Operations to determine product costs, bill of materials (BOM), and overhead, ensuring accurate costing
Analyze production variances (forecast vs. actual) with understanding, explanation, and resolution
Participate in monthly and quarter-close financial close and reconciliation
Participate in inventory forecast and supply/demand analysis
Conduct quarterly inventory reserve analysis and generate reports for management
Identify and support continual process and procedure improvements for increased efficiency of data management for analysis
Build relevant ad hoc analysis for business insight and effective decision-making, related to key strategic Finance initiatives
